National Technical University of Athens

Born and raised in Kritsa, Lasithi in 1954. He finished Elementary School in Kritsa and then he continued in Agios Nikolaos’ High-School (six years, the equivalent of High-School and Lyceum in the current educational system of Greece).

He graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in 1981. Following military service he moved to Agios Nikolaos (1983) where he worked in the Technical Service of Municipalities and Communities (ΤΥΔΚ) as a designer and supervising engineer of Public Works. He has designed and supervised works concerning roads, water distribution and sanitation systems, public spaces landscaping etc. In 1987 he resigned to work in the private sector and opened a Technical Office for the design - supervision - construction of private building projects and for the design of public works.

He has served as a member of the council of the community of Kritsa (1990-1998), member of the board of the Association of the people who come from the area of Vathi (an area near Agios Nikolaos) and of the board of Kritsa Sports Club, member of the board of the Municipal Enterprise of Water and Sewerage of Agios Nikolaos and of the board of the Port Fund of Lasithi.

He is a member of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos, president of the Municipal Enterprise of Water and Sewerage of Agios Nikolaos, Deputy-Mayor of Technical Services (2010-2011) and Executive Member of the Council of Technical Services and Urban Planning.
